Proceed with caution, this is dish is addictive. Today I bring you the most basic recipe for pasta with tomato cream sauce. Make it if you’re feeling blue or hungry for pasta especially in this cold weather, it definitely does the trick.

So guess what you just need? An onion, garlic, tomato paste, the pasta and cream. This is the most easiest pasta recipe that I have come to learn and I shouldn't have taken this long to share with you this recipe. But it's all good, we are here now... making this dish together :)

so I hope you enjoy this dish as much as I have enjoyed preparing it.

Note that you can add chicken, beef, shrimp, veggies…anything at all to this simple sauce. But sometimes I like to enjoy things in their most basic state. It’s reassuring that such simple things can be so divine.

Enjoy!

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 60 minutes

Servings: 2

You will need:

2 cups Pasta

1 large Onion

2 Garlic Cloves

2 cups Tomato Paste

1 cup full cream milk

1 tablespoon grated Mozzarella cheese (optional)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Procedure:

Cook the pasta according to package instructions

Chop the onion, mince the garlic cloves

In a large skillet or pot, heat equal the vegetable/olive oil. Add the onion and garlic and cook for a minute

Pour the tomato paste, stir around and let it cook for 15-30 minutes over low heat. Add in the salt, pepper, a little sugar if you like

Remove the sauce from the heat and let it sit for a minute or two, then pour in a cup of cream, stir for another 5 minutes then throw some grated mozzarella cheese into the sauce

Drain the pasta and add the pasta to the sauce. Toss it around gently, coating the pasta with the sauce.

Serve with your favorite green vegetable, I served with Italian spinach... Enjoy!
