You've gotta try this chocolate chip cookie recipe! They're so flavourful, chewy in the center, crunchy edges and they just tick all the boxes for me.

You're going to love this recipe. It's a simple traditional cookie recipe. I highly recommend chilling the dough for an hour or two before baking. Chilled dough spreads less when baking resulting in moister cookie texture. I usually leave my dough covered in the fridge overnight but an hour is enough before baking.
I love this recipe because no baking skills required! It's so easy, it only takes 10 minutes to bake. They’re full of flavor and sweetness...these cookies are irresistible!
Let's get to the recipe!
Prep time: 15 minutes + 1 hour of chilling
Cook time: 10 minutes
Servings: 11 medium-sized cookies
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 tablespoons flour
Procedure:
Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugars & salt until light and creamy, approximately 2-3 minutes. Mix in the milk and vanilla essence, until well combined, do not over mix.
Pour in the flour into butter & sugar mixture and stir to combine well. Add in chocolate chips and stir until well combined.
Place cookie dough in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour or up to 24 hours.
Once ready to bake, preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
Scoop cookie dough, approximately 1 tablespoon at a time, and place a few inches apart on a lined cookie sheet or lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until starting to turn golden brown.
Let cool on baking sheet for approximately 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack for cooling. Repeat process with remaining cookie dough.
Store tightly covered and enjoy.
