Pizza night calls for fun activities and games, you'd expect my family & I to have a pizza night with board games and wine on a Friday night, but here we are, on a Tuesday, enjoying a night in and this is one of the blessings of working from home.

I made this delicious pizza with my brother - to be fair he did most of the work, working with the dough, especially and we were so happy with how it turned out.

I hope you love this pizza,it's so delicious and flavourful. I must say the green prepper brings out the best flavor, and it's mouth-watering 🤤 You can get more of my pizza recipes on my website, I have linked them all down below. Happy Cooking!

Let's get to the recipe!

Prep time: 25 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Serving: 1 - you can make 2 pizza if you double the dough ingredients - we made 3.

Ingredients:

For the dough

  • 1/2 cup warm water

  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast

  • 1/2 tbsp oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups flour

For the toppings

  • Tomato paste/Pizza Sauce

  • 200g ground beef stew

  • Cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

  • 1 Green pepper, sliced

  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese

Procedure:

The dough

  1. Pour warm water into a bowl. Add in the yeast and let stand until the yeast dissolves, for about 5 minutes. Add the oil then stir to combine.

  2. Use a spatula to mix the salt and 1 & 1/2 cup of flour into a bowl. Add the dissolved yeast and use a wooden spoon to combine until the dough comes together and sticky.

  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth adding the remaining 1/2 cup of flour. Knead the dough for 7 minutes. Form the dough into a ball, put it back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until it doubles in size, about an hour.

  4. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

  5. Turn the dough back to your floured work surface. Use a rolling pin to stretch the dough to your desired shape and thickness. We made a thick dough (1/4 inch).

Topping

  1. Baste the tomato paste on the dough first then, spread the minced beef on top of the sauce.

  2. Add cheese the mozzarella then lay out the cherry tomatoes and green pepper slices on top.

  3. Bake the pizza at 180 ℃ for 10 minutes.

  4. Serve while still warm.
