Sliders recipe is one of the recipes I wrote down just before I started blogging. I used to come across so many pictures and video tutorials of making them and they look intriguing so I found the courage to my own recipe down.

This sandwich is so simple, it just buns and a delicious ground beef with sauteed onions put together plus I also needed this recipe on my website, I only have it on my Instagram
I love food and I love the fact that there is not just one formula of creating something. There is so much inspiration out there and I am always amazed with how much, in terms of recipes, you can create with simple ingredients, ingredients that you always have in your kitchen cabinet. Such motivation has really helped me get a recipe out of my head.
So the next time you get tired of the same old sandwiches for lunch or need a new idea for a casual get-together, give these a try. Then you’ll see what I mean about not being able to get a recipe out of your head!
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Servings: 6 (12 buns)
Ingredients: 1 packet sweet buns 500 grams fried minced beef 12 slices Cheddar cheese/ 1 cup of shredded Mozzarella 1 1/2 cups fried onions
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C / 392 degrees F.
Use grease-proof paper or butter the bottom of a baking dish with unsalted butter.
Without separating the buns, slice all the buns in half.
Place the bottom half of the buns in the baking dish. Top with the mozzarella or cheddar cheese, fried minced meat, fried onions, more cheese and then the other half of the buns.
In a small bowl, mix 1 egg with garlic powder then brush the buns with the mixture.
Bake the sliders until the cheese is gooey and the top of the buns are golden brown -about 10-15 minutes.
Remove and cut the sliders with a very sharp knife.
Serve with your favorite drink and enjoy!
