Buzzfeed Tasty up-side down Apple Cake

I am a die-hard Buzzfeed Tasty fan and I always try to make some of the food that’s presented on the page. I have serious sweet tooth today and I decided that I could finally test out this up-side down cake recipe. This apple cake recipe went viral probably 2-3 years back but I’d never had the opportunity to...until now.

Here’s how the recipe turned out.

This cake is delectable. The cinnamon makes the cake so flavourful as well as the caramelized sauce. The caramel sauce takes a minute to make on your stove and is made with just 2 ingredients; melted butter and brown sugar. The apples are so sweet (which I love) and well cooked.

Assembling the cake is very simple. I poured the sauce in my greased baking tin, layered the apple slices then poured the cake butter on top and baked for 50 minutes.

Taking the cake out of the tray was a bit difficult because I did not want any of the apples to remain stuck on my baking tin. Make sure the caramel sauce is not too thick because that could have been a contributing factor for my apples to get stuck onto the baking tin. I will give this recipe another try as I correct some things.

Other than that, you will definitely have a super great treat for your sweet tooth and loved ones. 2/3 family members would recommend.
