Marshmallow Chocolate Sponge Cake

A few days ago I thought of making a dessert or a sweet snack for my blog. I decided to make a chocolate sponge cake with marshmallow as icing. Yep, I know... my two favourite.

This is the outcome! :)

Basically I baked a sponge cake, melted the marshmallows on top of the cake which, by the way, is a messy process & I also put some on top. I baked for 5-10 minutes.

Melting marshmallows is messy because they become so gooey, & stick everywhere. You should add some light syrup to make the mixture less sticky.

I love marshmallows and cakes so much but they just don't kick it for me together. It's not just about being very sweet but I also feel like they are not well-suited for each other... but don't get me wrong, I will continue to appreciate them individually. Some of you might even love this.
